BEHOLD 2020 WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

This year we are excited to welcome author Andrea Thom to BEHOLD 2020! Andrea is a wife, mom to three great kids, therapist and writer with a passion to Love the Word and Live the Word and a desire to inspire women to do the same. With bible studies such as Ruth – Redeeming The Darkness and upcoming series Amos – Come Awake, Andrea will walk us through Titus 2:11-15 and together we will explore the transforming truth behind godly living!

This event is open to all women high school age and up so please prayerfully consider who you will invite and then come, ready to behold the glory of the Lord and discover His great desire for his daughters to experience freedom and transformation.

Speakers:

Andrea is a wife, mom to three great kids, a therapist and a writer. She has a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and works part-time. Andrea is passionate to see women encounter Jesus through His Word and have their lives transformed by the gospel.

More recently God has been calling her to move more formally into ministry and she has begun speaking and writing on passages of Scripture as well as practical life topics that discuss how biblical wisdom informs current therapeutic perspectives.

Her writing has been recognized by two separate national and international writing awards that sought to identify today’s best upcoming Christian writers. She has been a recurrent guest on WDCX radio, a featured speaking contributor on HopeStreamRadio, and currently writes for a variety of international, online Christian sites including The Gospel Coalition Canada. The first release of her Bible study series is entitled RUTH - Redeeming The Darkness, and her next study AMOS- Come Awake! releases in March 2020.

Worship Leader:

MARIE JOYNT lives with her husband Dan in Caledonia Ontario and they are blessed with two lovely daughters and sons-in-law.  Amanda who is married to Reuben, and Erin who is married to Tim.  Marie and Dan are now blessed beyond measure to be the Grandparents of Matthew as well through a miraculous story of God's grace upon Amanda and Rueben!  

Marie has been in the worship ministry for approximately 30 years. Her huge heart for the Lord and contagious, joy filled, passion-inspired worship has led her to a time of stretching where God called her to worship Him in spirit and in truth! Recently He has grown her through increased opportunities in teaching, writing and speaking to women about passionately pursuing Him alone. With singular focus she sets her heart upon living out the call of Romans 12:1-2 that her life would be poured out to daily grow deeper in love with the Lord and to lead others increasingly see Him, love Him, lean on Him and walk in the freedom that only He can give.

Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

2019 Speakers:

LISA ZANETTI  As a young mom in 1995, Lisa was invited to attend a ladies Bible study where she came to saving faith in Jesus Christ.  She continues to pursue an intimate knowledge of her Saviour through prayer and studying the Bible inductively.  Her passion to mine Scripture fuels her joy in Christ and has led to many God-given occasions to minister through teaching and speaking opportunities.  She has been discipling women and leading Bible studies for over 16 years in various settings.  Her desire is to see women become growing disciples walking in joyful obedience and gospel freedom whose lives display the glory of Christ. 

Married for 32 years to her high school sweetheart Fabio, they have been blessed with 3 grown daughters and a recent son-in law. She enjoys nature walks with her husband, beholding God’s beautiful creation and expressing it through oil painting as well as cooking for her family and friends.

Gal 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

STACEY WEEKS is the multi-award-winning author of Glorious Surrender (2016), inspirational romances The Builder’s Reluctant Bride (2016), Mistletoe Melody (2018), and inspirational romantic suspense novels In Too Deep (2017), and Fatal Homecoming (2019).  She lives in Ontario where her primary ministry gathers around her dining room table like a ravenous herd every night. Her husband and children are both her greatest blessing and greatest ministry opportunity, which she sees as an absolute privilege.

Stacey believes her primary calling is to grow in her relationship with the Lord daily and to serve her family and care for their needs in such a way that they will grow to know and desire to serve our Lord and Saviour. She desires to inspire other women to do so also. JENNIFER PETERSEN  has been a follower of Jesus Christ for 41 years and has been teaching God’s word through Precept inductive Bible studies since 1982. 

A teacher by trade Jennifer started out in the public school system and then later finished her career at Central Baptist Academy. 

As a trainer for Precept Ministries she has been able to marry her passion for the living Word of God with her desire to instruct students and teachers alike to study the Bible in a way that grows an awe and reverence for God and results in a life changed for Him. 

God had given her an opportunity to be a speaker with Women Alive/Precept Ministries in a “Day in the Word”. This wife, mother and grandmother, continues to teach bible study and actively mentor women in Biblical thinking with a passion to see women discipled and living victoriously for our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. Therefore my heart exalts and with my song I thank Him.
